KEEPING IT GREEN

We’re doing our best to make this event have as little impact on the environment as possible. We hope to raise awareness about ways we can all contribute to make our events and sport more sustainable.

What we’re doing:
• Online Registration (no mass mailing)
• We are an Eco-Cycle Zero Waste Event (recycle/compost stations at event)
• Solar powered race communication/entertainment (powered by Bella Energy’s Mobella unit)
• Carbon Credits offered through Greenheart Institute
• Lead pace bike for race (no emissions!)
• Compostable cups/tableware
• Running shoe donation through One World Running

Ways you can help:
• Buy “Driven By the Wind” carbon offsets to neutralize your travel at the Greenheart Institute
• Carpool, bike, run, walk or take RTD to the race
• Bring your own water bottle to the race (you can fill it there)
• Bring your old running shoes to donate to One World Running
• Please use the Eco-Cycle Zero Waste bins appropriately
