REGISTRATION
Race will be held rain or shine.
Entrants receive admission to the post-race party and business expo. The post-race party will include food and beverages. Results will be posted at www.active.com.
ENTRY FEES
- Individual 5K - $25
- Teams (male, female, coed, future employees*) $25/person (minimum of 3, maximum of 5) * First 10 "future employees" teams to register receive a discount.
ENTRY DEADLINES
Mail In registration must be received by Saturday, July 24th.
Online registration will close Tuesday, July 27th at midnight.
Walk In registration beginning June 28th through Monday noon, July 26 (teams and individuals). It is at 4 locations: Solepepper Sports, Adrenaline Tri Sport, Fleet Feet (Boulder) and Boulder Running Company (Boulder).
Team registration will close Tuesday, July 27th at midnight.
Late Fee $5 for “individual runners only” day of event, July 28, 20, 4 pm - 5:45 pm
NO DAY OF EVENT “TEAM ENTRY’S” WILL BE ACCEPTED. Entry Fees are non-refundable. Bib numbers are non-transferable. Check should be made out to CTC Challenge, LLC.
DETAILS
The corporate challenge is a competition among individuals, companies, municipalities, etc within the Sunset 5K. Both the Corporate Challenge competition and the Sunset 5K are run simultaneously. The Elite Race is run afterwards.
- CTC Corporate Challenge invites your company to enter as many teams as you wish. A team member cannot compete on more than one team.
- four team categories: male, female, coed, and future employees*.
- Each team must have a minimum of three members, but may have as many as five.
- Scoring will take the top 3 finishers from each team and add their times -the lowest total time wins!
- CO-ED Division – Top three runners score either combination of 1st two men and 1st woman team finishers, or 1st two women and 1st man team finisher. Lowest combined team time wins.
* A new "Future Employees" division for those currently in a job transition. First 10 teams to register receive a discount.
RUNNING IN THE 5K
Individual runners are welcome to enter the Corporate Challenge/Sunset 5k as individuals and race for Age Group awards! Individual runners run on the Corporate Challenge/Sunset 5k course, same time with the corporate teams but will not effect the team scoring.
CORPORATE TEAM DEFINITION
Corporate teams can be corporations, municipalities, and any business entity, and must be comprised of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 individuals. Team members must be employed at the company as of January 1st 2010.
ELITE CRITERIUM RACE
The elite race features local professionals and high level competitors. The Elite 5k will follow the Freeman Myre 5k Corporate Challenge and will be run on a criterium course. Cash prizes will be awarded. This race will begin at 6:45 PM. Qualifying standards to run in this race are as follows:

Masters Women - 20:30
